The hotel is located in a very quiet area with greenery just around the corner. An inviting bright lobby greets you as you arrive after your trip.
We who own and run Hotell Carl Friman and our other smaller hotel Hotell Östermalm are a family consisting of Elin, John and Lasse. We bought the property where Hotell Östermalm is now located 5 years ago and rebuilt it and furnished it ourselves into a hotel. The success of that hotel gave us more taste and Hotel Carl Friman, which by the way is named after our grandfather / great-grandfather, is now ready. Being our own builders and project managers has been a matter of course for us. Developing, decorating and designing is close to our hearts and we always want the opportunity to influence the construction process and the end result ourselves.
Running a bistro will also be something new and exciting for us. We now have a chance to develop our interest in cooking, while Elin is most often found in the Reception.
